Beijing STEPS is space in combination with cinema, bar and café.

e set a 1.9m*17.3m large screen in this space with height of 4.35 ms. The abstract images made by VJ are projected on the screen by 6 projectors in business hours. In concert with the images, the music is full of all space with heavy bass effect. We designed the seats in steps like in theater and set balconies in order to ensure all consumers in different position of the store can see the large screen, so most of the space shows in a 3D effect. The spaces under the steps are kitchen and rooms used by staff.

In order to give more prominence to the images, we depressed the whole illumination of the space and used neat colors. The colorful light and shadows are reflected on the screen, in turn reflecting on the walls, armrests, desks, chairs, cups and trays, changing the visions inside the space.

The topic of square just corresponds to the image of Pixel-the smallest unit of the image. The squares with different sizes from 200mm× 200mm to 800mm×800mm were used on grounds, walls, ceilings, armrests, displays, cabins, etc.

There is a set of show window shelves displaying various dolls along one side of the corridor with length of 15.6 ms all made by 20mm thick acrylic boards. The windows also reflect the flowing lights of the images and bring a feeling of transparence for the storefront so that the passerby can be impressed by the character of the store.

The waitresses with maid dresses go around in the store, giving birth to the mix of different cultures.
