" Marco&Mari in Beijing "is a children's clothing boutique, which was designed as the first renewal shop of the brand.
Based on the theme of the brand, the design was expected to have the European elements.
To Respond the brand theme, we used arch which is one of the most Standardized structure form classic European architecture,
and reform the archi comtemporary decoration.
The new decorative archi is a rounded design like marshmallow or children's clay work.
Fine texture of the plaster covering the surface of the arch, giving the viewer the impression of the soft cotton candy.
The space is created by combining to contrasting expression, the dynamism of arches and cuteness of children’s clotings.
This arch has continuously expanded to four sides around the store, which followed the classical architectural symmetry configuration.
In the center surrounded by such a continuous arch, there is a cozy space where parents and children can rest together,and it will remind
Foley standing in the courtyard. This resting place and furniture also has been used repetitive arches and marshmallow-decoration, which pulled whole look together.
